Street Deli is located on
the University Center's third floor and is inside a glassed-in
atrium and lit through natural lighting with large skylights.
Skylight Terrace was designed by input from students from the
university as well as faculty and staff. The natural setting of
the area creates a light and airy atmosphere. The area has a
warm and inviting feel that patrons love to experience.
Our customers are always
seeking healthier flavors, but simply providing only healthier
choices is not always the best option because students also
prefer the freedom and flexibility regarding dining decisions.
Wheat Street Deli is the
perfect concept to satisfy both demands by catering to the
tastes and styles of all students. By blending traditional deli
staples with the light, fresh options of Sky-Lite’s, students
can still get traditional sandwiches, or choose healthier
options that fit their lifestyle.
The phrase “healthier items”
is always complicated and misleading because so many diets and
dining styles are promoted as healthy regardless of their
nutritional value. Our Sky-Lite’s menu addresses these concerns
by making the search for basic nutritional information easy to
find because we place it where they are most apt to see it - on
the menu. Although this information will only be relegated to
the four most sought after content categories (calories, carbs,
fat and fiber), all nutritional information for menu items will
be readily available at each station and online.
