Chef
Michael Reitman is the culinary engineer of the Beanery Café menu.
Reitman is originally from New Orleans, LA, where he received his
culinary degree from Delgado College. Chef Reitman further refined
his skills working as an apprentice at Arnaud's Restaurant, a 527
seat Mobil Four Star and DiRoNA awarded French Creole restaurant.
Reitman is classically trained in traditional French cuisine and has
extensive experience in seafood preparation and Italian,
Mediterranean, Asian and traditional American cooking. As a Cajun,
Reitman particularly likes to demonstrate his flare for Creole
flavors and showcase his skills in preparing fresh seafood dishes.
He is a member of
the American Culinary Federation and former Executive Chef of
Saffire Restaurant in Franklin, Tennessee, which was voted best area
restaurant during Reitman’s tenure.
