These menus are only a guide.  Please call our catering office for information on the different types of catering functions and menus we can provide.  We have many resources available to ensure you have a premium-catered function at a value price.  Our Executive Chef is available to develop menus tailored to your specific function and our management team will be happy to help you design the best function for your needs.

A vital real-world training opportunity for students entering the job market. The art of dining and conversation is basic to professional advancement and social comfort, yet is not covered in the usual educational experience.

An elegant five course meal for your event. Accompanying the meal, students will receive expert advice and instruction in dining etiquette for a variety of occasions including formal social gatherings and dinner interviews. Our Etiquette Dinners are unique and invaluable opportunities for students to gain practical experience in proper dining protocol. Please contact us to schedule an Etiquette Dinner for your group. In order to serve you better we would like to remind you of our guidelines.  Please read the following information carefully, as it will ensure clear communication in our working relationship throughout your events this year.

Advance Notice: We kindly ask that you submit your catering order 2 weeks prior to your event to ensure ample time for appropriate staffing, linen/china ordering and the highest quality of product. We do realize that special events may arise unexpectedly and we will do our best to provide you service on short notice. A 15% late booking fee will be assessed to all events ordered with less than 3 business days notice.

Guarantees: For all catered events, Chartwells requires a guaranteed count 3 working days prior to your event. If the final guarantee is not received, we will consider the number indicated on the latest count to be correct. The guarantee is not subject to reduction after the deadline. Your billing is based on the final count. If the number of guests is higher than the final count guaranteed, you will be charged accordingly.  If any changes to your contract are made within 2 working days you will be charged a $10.00 late administrative fee. 

Cancellations:  All cancellations must be made at least 2 working days prior to your event date. If you cancel your event after the 2 working days deadline, you will be charged for the cost of all items and labor incurred prior to the cancellation.

Minimum Orders:  Free on campus delivery is available for orders over $35.00 held outside the University Center.  This minimum is required for each function set-up.  Events held in the University Center that are under $20.00 include a basic set-up fee.  Some buffets require a minimum number of guests.

Food Safety:  Food safety is a high priority for Chartwells Catering Services.  Therefore, we reserve the right to deny removal of leftover food by the customer.  Please do not remove, dispose or repackage remaining items.  To ensure safety and sanitation for customers and guests, a Chartwells representative will remove all items in a timely manner.  For the safety of you and your guest, foods that need to be hot or cold, will be removed after a limit of two hours or as determined by the catering staff.
